NFL FLAG IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
The NFL Flag program aims to use Flag Football to introduce young people to the NFL, American Football and inspire the next generation of players. NFL Flag programs are running in Primary School PE curriculum across Australia.
The program teaches players the NFL values of respect, resilience, responsibility and integrity and the importance of leading healthy, active lifestyles including physical activity and emotional wellbeing.

Invitation to NFL Flag tournaments
Following the 6-week NFL Flag curriculum, each school will be invited to participate in their local State Championship, where they will compete alongside schools in their region. Primary Schools who teach grade 5 & 6 students (U12) are eligible to submit a team of 10 to NFL Flag Primary School Tournaments. WHAT YEAR LEVELS WILL THE NFL FLAG PROGRAM BE OFFERED TO AT YOUR SCHOOL?
The NFL Flag program is offered to year 5 & 6 students due to the eligibility to compete at the NFL Flag Pro Bowl Games.
I TEACH YEAR 3 & 4 STUDENTS. CAN I STILL HAVE A PROGRAM?
Yes. Primary Schools across Australia can register for NFL Flag and teach to students as part of their PE curriculum. These students won't be eligible to enter an NFL Flag tournament. However, you can still have access to the curriculum and support.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE NFL FLAG CURRICULUM?
You must register your school for the NFL Flag program by filling out the NFL Flag Primary School Registration form.
